An International Improv Comedy Showcase
January 28th – February 1st, 2025
The Improv Centre is bringing improv troupes from around the world to perform for Vancouver audiences again for 2025!
Each show includes short form games, an international showcase of a visiting troupe’s unique style of improv, and an all-play. Teams will continue to mix and mingle throughout the week during performances until closing night’s LOL-apalooza!
Come enjoy improv from around the world and revel in the joy of yes, and as our visiting players bring THE HEAT!

Want to apply?
If you are part of an international improv troupe and you're interested in performing,
we want you to apply!
To be considered, teams should:
• be a team of 3 people or less;
• be able to perform primarily in English;
• ready and prepared to teach an improv workshop;
• be legally allowed to enter Canada.
The Improv Centre will contribute to airfare costs, as well as supply accommodation
and per diems to successful applicants during their stay.
We can't wait to bring your style of improv to our theatre!

This dynamic duo of Second City alumni perform regularly at Toronto’s Comedy Bar.
SPIT Manila
SPIT Manila has been the premiere improv group of the Philippines for over 16 years.
Glass Clown
These long form enthusiasts are regular performers at The Clubhouse in Los Angeles, California.
