Volunteer Opportunities
As a non-for-profit charity, The Improv Centre is grateful for the wonderful volunteers who help make our shows possible. We are always looking for new additions to our volunteer community!
Responsibilities:
- Greeting patrons and assisting with check-in’s as patrons enter the theatre.
- Showing patrons to their assigned seats.
- Assisting the Managers on Duty between and after shows to clear the theatre of patrons and glassware.
- Ensuring there are no pictures or videos taken during the shows by patrons.
- Crowd monitoring and reporting behaviour to the Manager on Duty.
Volunteer opportunities are available during regular weekly shows as well as special events.

Requirements:
- As a licensed establishment, all volunteers must be 19+ years old.
- Attend one training session at The Improv Centre prior to first volunteer shift.
- Volunteers must commit to at least 1 shift per month for benefits to stay active.
