A show based on the hopeful notes and letters of potential loves who shared lingering glances on public transit or flirtatious smiles while pretending to listen to their friend at a coffee date! This show will explore close calls, chance encounters and fateful rendezvous with inspiration from the hopeful romantics who have written into the I Saw You column of the Georgia Straight, believing that fate might just lead them back to their special someone.
Blockbuster: Rom-Com Edition

Our Blockbuster shows are completely improvised and all about our favourite films and genres – horror, western, sci-fi… you name it! And now for a limited time – we’re taking all our suggestions and putting them through a rom-com filter for Love Month!
Can a robot find true love? Will the rival police captains finally admit their feelings for each other during their last day on the force? Come laugh yourself silly at the Blockbuster you know and love, this time with a little more love!

There’s nothing wrong with oversharing in public, right? Especially when it fuels incredible comedy! In this show, audience members share true stories – from your office win of the week to the household thorn in your side – and our cast turns them into fast, hilarious improvised scenes.
In the second half, the performers share their own true stories in a classic Armando-style format, sparking even more laughs. Expect heartfelt storytelling, genuine connection, and a reminder that real life can be pretty funny!

Pricing at our shows is easy as pie – it all comes down to the day of the week you’d like to attend and where you’d like to sit.
In case you’re wondering, we hold accessible seating at every show. We’re happy to offer $5 discounts on regular priced seats for students with valid ID & seniors aged 65+.

Sunday is our most cost effective night – sit wherever you like for $10!
Tuesday is Sliding Scale pricing: sit wherever you like and you pay whatever you can from $10, $15, or $20 per ticket.
