The Heat: 1st Ever International Improv Comedy Showcase

The Improv Centre is happy to announce the funniest set of shows this side of North America!
Join teams of international improvisers as they travel from around the world to bring their spin on improv to The Improv Centre on Granville Island, located in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Bring The Heat!
This multi-day festival will showcase a myriad of talent from across the globe and YOU could be part of it!
Two international teams will perform in the first half of each show, showcasing their unique styles of improv, followed by an all-play second half. Teams will continue to mix and mingle throughout the week until we create a closing night LOL-apalooza!
Participate in workshops, activities and jams, meet fellow performers and improv-enthusiasts from around the world and revel in the joy of yes, and! We want to see what you’ve got!
Are you an international improv troupe?
Successful applicants travelling to Vancouver will be provided with a travel subsidy depending on distance and length of stay.
